B2B Industrial Website Redesign
Larego Engineering is an Australian toolmaking and manufacturing business working across CNC machining, EDM wire cutting, press tools, metal stamping, welding, and tool design.
I redesigned the website to make a technical industrial business easier to understand, trust, and contact.
The old website had useful information, but the experience felt dated, text-heavy, and difficult to scan. Services were present, but the structure did not clearly show the company's full capability or why a buyer should enquire.
Starting Point
The existing website was built around information, not decision-making.
For an industrial buyer, that creates friction. They need to understand what the company does, what services are available, where the business is based, and whether the team can handle serious manufacturing work. The redesign focused on making those answers visible faster.
Website Strategy
The main job of the website was to make Larego feel credible before someone makes contact.
I restructured the experience around clear service categories: toolmaking, CNC machining, EDM wire cutting, press tools, metal stamping, welding, and design development.
Key Decisions
- Make the services easier to scan
- Bring capability forward
- Use trust signals clearly
- Improve the enquiry path

Outcome
The redesign turned a dated industrial website into a clearer B2B experience. The new direction makes the company's services easier to understand, gives buyers more confidence, and presents Larego as a serious manufacturing partner rather than just a list of capabilities.
Reflection
This project was about clarity more than decoration. For technical businesses, design has to organize information properly. If the buyer cannot quickly understand the service, the location, and the level of trust, the website is not doing its job.
